I have known Elaine of Kala Hypnosis for more than 30 years. When I met the love of my life, he had been diagnosed with cancer. To help cope with the uncertainty and stresses of the situation, we came to Elaine for a hypnosis session.
It was so calming and gave us a tool to help through the cancer treatments which were unfortunately not successful as it was such an aggressive form of cancer. However, as I am a very intuitive person, after he died I was drifting off to sleep one night and found myself in the hypnotic scenario Elaine had created for us, and so there I was meeting my beloved walking and talking with him. It was such a gift, and occasionally when I am in a moment of stress and feeling the loss, I use Elaine’s technique and scenario for comfort and reassurance. It has given me the certainty that though the outcomes of the cancer treatment had not been what we had hoped, we still have a powerful connection that means the world to me. She was happy to work with the time of day and what day worked well for me ! I have been happily smoke free for almost two full months and am not turning back ! Elaine is beyond unprofessional! I haven't even met her yet, and after the struggle I have had to make an appointment with her, I no longer want to. I initially called her to make an appointment and she picked up the phone sounding like I was annoying her with my call. She told me she didn't have her appointment book, but that she was pretty sure that the date and time I proposed worked for her and that she would get back to me. She also was condescending when I told her that I was hoping that the hypnosis would get to the root of what is causing my claustrophobia by quickly and rudely correcting me that 'hypnosis doesn't get to the root of the problem" without explaining to me what it actually does. I decided to give her another chance and called her a week before my supposed appointment only to have her rudely pick up the phone again and tell me she doesn't recall an appointment on that day/time and to call her back and 'leave her a message' because she's dealing with something right now. So, I called and left her a message and still haven't heard back from. Good luck to you Elaine but you clearly are not professional enough for this job. - Petty Panagakos, 1 stars
