I wrote my masterโs thesis on a holistic model of treating adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This began my long exploration of the dynamics of body-centered presence, versus dissociation and other defense mechanisms which limit awareness. As I deepened my study of trauma, I went on to learn EMDR and to integrate it with hypnotherapy andHakomi, aย body-centered psychotherapy.

Working with Julisa for the last 7 yrs has truly been life-changing. She's caring, compassionate and so supportive. I have tried many therapies in my lifetime and her style and techniques have gotten me to a place where I finally feel like I am where I want to be mind/body/spirit. Through our work together, I have discovered my passion for health coaching and am currently being mentored by Julisa, with her support I am so excited. I love healthy coaching- helping others feels wonderful. My own journey to get here would not have been possible without her. ๐๐๐ - Lynnette Fields, 5 stars
I began receiving functional health coach mentoring from Julisa after completing my own therapy with her about two years ago. She had helped me to come to a place in my healing where I started to see that I could begin to offer a healing practice of my own, which I had wanted to do for years. When Julisa and I transitioned into mentoring, I started to see myself creating what I had wanted and even attempted to do in the past without success. I'd actually tried a couple of different programs and done quite a lot of research to find a training where I could get the education to both learn the skills I needed to coach, and build a successful practice. Julisa not only possesses an incredible repertoire of knowledge on health, but she teaches real skills in how to coach, including working with psychology and rapport to develop relationships with clients that really take their healing to the next level. She consistently has a wealth of information and guidance to offer about working with people in a very high level way, as well as excellent, quality ideas on how to develop my business and career. I've been able to start getting clients and those clients have definitely experienced the benefits of my working with her. I am so grateful to have her as a mentor, I can't recommend Julisa enough. - chelsea blake, 5 stars
Julisa has been wonderful to work with, helping me navigate very deep and difficult situations, going back to childhood and up to the present time. Her knowledge of the human mind and spirit and the impact of trauma are vast. I truly appreciate her working with me using the brain spotting modality, it is very powerful and she is a great guide who kept me safe and on the road to healing in my life. - Diva Olvera, 4 stars
